What is the use for? resveratrol in fertility
Well, it clearly fights against free radicals and improves the quality of eggs and sperm. I explain to you…
Today, we are probably living in the most toxic time in the history of Humanity. Even so, the body is surprisingly capable of neutralizing both external toxins and internal toxins quite successfully and to a certain extent. Increasing age in itself is a clear example of natural oxidation, but increased exposure to harmful substances and the consequent production of an excessive number of free radicals is endangering our protective systems.
An unbalanced diet, not rich in quantity and variety of vegetables and fruits, both raw and cooked; toxic consumption habits such as the habitual intake of alcohol, tobacco or other substances; continued exposure to city pollution; Anxiety, hurry and stress or lack of tissue oxygenation through sport are sources of oxidation for our tissues.
Fighting free radicals to boost fertility
Free radicals are highly reactive and have a great affinity for cell membranes, that is, they really like to adhere to them. In this way, they become true cell destroyers and can enhance almost any pathology. To combat these free radicals, the body has more than 600 antioxidant substances that work in a chain, some helping and promoting the work of the others.
Among these antioxidant substances, pure Resveratrol has proven to be very useful in maintaining good health with age. In recent years, more than 1,000 research articles have been published on this powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory.
It is a natural component in plants and vegetables that helps protect them from harmful insects, parasites, bacteria and fungi. In the human body it does the same function. Especially in its combination with Vitamin C, another great antioxidant, it achieves preventive effects on cardiovascular disorders, is capable of influencing the regulation of blood glucose levels and is capable of modulating body fat levels.
Resveratrol improvement of sperm and egg quality
The quality of reproductive cells, both female and male, is not exempt from suffering alterations due to free radicals and excess oxidation. In fact, the inverse relationship between age and fertility is based on excess oxidation of cells. And the same occurs with the increase in possible chromosomal alterations.
Currently, the alarming decrease in the quality of human sperm is evident. This, together with the delay in the age of conception of children, creates a disastrous combination for the success of fertility, both natural and supported by assisted reproduction processes.
An extra dose of antioxidant support is shown to improve the quality of reproductive cells.
Furthermore, pure Resveratrol has been interesting for improving the damage that sperm subjected to freezing can suffer as well as for improving the integrity of sperm DNA, what we call DNA Fragmentation, whether single-stranded or double-stranded.
In the case of women, resveratrol seems to have benefits on the quality of the follicles where the oocytes will grow and improve the expectations of success of ovarian stimulation. It has also been shown to be able to counteract the harmful effects of overweight and metabolic syndrome. By improving insulin sensitivity, it is also recommended for cases of hyperandrogenism or polycystic ovary syndrome or PCOS.
How can I consume the Resveratrol?
You can consume resveratrol through your diet by enhancing foods rich in this substance such as grapes, red wine, nuts or dark chocolate.
Strangely, for fertility, chocolate and especially red wine would not be the most suitable foods with resveratrol, but not natural grapes and nuts, so you can consume resvetrol directly in a grape extract tablet. I leave you a link to some examples:

Another very common way to take a resveratrol booster when we are looking for pregnancy and want to combat infertility is through tablets that you can consume with a controlled dose or through powders that you can include in your recipes, juices and smoothies.
A good idea is to take resveratrol already in a vitamin tablet to enhance fertility so you don't have to add another tablet or take it separately along with some vitamin C to enhance the antioxidant effect and enhance hormonal regulation.
Warnings: The consumption of antioxidants should not be continued over time without the supervision of a qualified therapist or doctor.
